Located in Ataşehir and developed by Rönesans Construction,
the Rönesans Tower Office Project is outstanding
with it’s unique architecture and innovative
construction. The luxury office project is strategically
situated near the metro system and the intersection of
the E5 and the TEM highways. In addition to its proximity to Kadıköy-
Kartal subway line, the project also draws attention with its different
architecture and the technological features of the construction.
TS-825 Turkish Insulation Standards, TS EN Turkish Standards, Turkish
Fire Protection Regulation, ASHRAE, NFPA Standards and planning
and zoning regulations were observed in the mechanical installation
systems of the project. Specifically, independent consulting firms
were used for seismic and fire protection systems.
There are numerous valid reasons for Rönesans Tower, which upon its
completion in September, will be the first LEED Platinum certificated
“office tower” in Turkey to be part of architecture and engineering literature.
In the building, which accommodates multiple firsts for Turkey
from the setup of the load bearing system to the solution of the
façade, the R/C system makes use of the “Performance Based Design”
(PBD) technique (The design technique which delivers whatever
is expected from a building instead of the traditional technique). The
building also features the “outrigger system” for earthquake safety;
another first in Turkey.
Marmara Yapi Sistemleri (MYS) has provided a Performance Based Specification
service in order to secure the performance of the doors and architectural
hardware and thus the functionality of the building. The service identifies
the expected performance requirements and presents a Project Specific
Specification based on based on TS EN Hardware Performance Standards.
As architectural equipment for the Rönesans Tower Office Project aiming to be
grade A+ in every aspect, the products of JNF Mimari Donanım used in prestigious
projects of Turkey, were chosen.
