Turkey’s first Architecture Museum will be completed restoration of the historic Sille Subaşı Bath was opened. In Sille, which regained its historical texture with the restoration works carried out by Selçuklu Municipality, Subaşı Bath was opened and handed over to Konya Chamber of Architects. Sille Subaşı Bath will serve as Turkey’s first Architecture Museum and will contribute to Konya and Selçuklu tourism with this feature. Reminding that the protocol for the allocation of the Sille Subaşı Bath, owned by Selçuklu Municipality, to the Konya Branch of the Chamber of Architects to be operated as an Architecture Museum and cafe was signed in recent months, Konya Chamber of Architects President Ahmet Övet said, “We are confident that the Sille Subaşı Bath, which witnessed past civilizations in Sille, which has an important place in Konya’s cultural heritage map, and which has now been brought back to life with a successful restoration, will increase the added value of culture and art life in Sille and Konya with the function of the Architecture Museum.”
