The house is designed by Elif Arslan Interiors, has a 250 m² net area, and was purchased in a completed way by the landlords. The existing style did not meet the expectations the first attempt was to emphasize the new spiral staircase that is aimed to be the main core of the entry. The existing living room and small kitchen areas combined to have a new large kitchen area where the island and a small L-shaped sofa are located. While choosing the dark blue color of the kitchen was considered mostly the sunlight effect of the place which is surrounded by an inspirational green garden.

With the instinct to explore the garden from inside, a spiral staircase surrounds the center of the house. The tone of the marble affected the design of the kitchen cabinet’s color. The island’s shape is referring to the ceiling design. Wall claddings that are located through the corridor, turned to be a TV unit with the instinct of integrity and flowness where the design is completed by lighting fixtures. In the kitchen area, the ceiling lighting design refers to the island shape with hidden LED light strips continuing through the corridor and master bedroom area. Pendant lighting fixtures created a lumination effect from the top. To increase the sense of wideness and light effect, marble, and mirrors are used where light-colored marble creates freshness and the mirror enlarges the space. In the whole of the project, continuity reflected the function and tones of the color varieties where dynamism and calmness were emphasized.
