The “Nuri İyem Painting Award”, presented since 2006 in memory of Nuri İyem, is being organized for the tenth time this year. Artists, who are Turkish citizens and have completed age 18, wishing to participate in the contest, are required to submit their works together with the participation forms that they can receive from the www.evin-art.com website or the Evin Art Gallery, from 10:00 om May 8, 2015 until 19:00 on May 10, 2015 to the Evin Art Gallery.
The Nuri İyem Painting Award 2015 Selection Board is composed of Cansen Ercan, Memet Güreli, Ümit İyem, Prof. Dr. Erhan Karaesmen, Temür Köran, İrfan Önürmen, Burcu Pelvanoğlu, Ali Şimşek and Emre Zeytinoğlu.
The artist, who has been found worthy of the award, will receive a bronze sculpture produced specially by Prof. Rahmi Aksungur as representing the “Nuri İyem Painting Award”, in addition to the monetary award. Moreover, the rewarded artist will acquire the online catalog right for a period of two years in the Lebriz.com artists’ catalogs section.
The paintings, which receive the Nuri İyem Painting Award and found worthy of being exhibited by the selection bard, will be exhibited during June 2 -16 at the Evin Art Gallery following the award ceremony to be organized on June 2, and will be complied in a comprehensive catalog to be prepared.
