Elgiz Museum presents the seventh one of the Terrace Exhibitions, displaying an impressive visuality among statuesque buildings in Maslak to art lovers under the theme “Sky Line”. This year’s terrace exhibition brings together thirty-four artists of four different generations with skyenlarging works.
The Advisors Committee assessing the applications by sculptures consist of Seyhun Topuz, Rahmi Aksungur, Nilüfer Ergin, Haşim Nur Gürel and Can Elgiz. This year, AICA Turkey Head and Cumhuriyet Newspaper culture-art editor Evrim Altuğ is participating as the guest member. In the exhibition catalogue, the position of world art of sculpture and the contribution of Terrace Exhibitions to the advancement of art of sculptures in Turkey are addressed by Haşim Nur Gürel and Evrim Altuğ.
The creators of the sculptures made up of various materials and “Sky Line” terrace exhibition are Yıldırım Alp Alanbay, Ufuk Aldemir, Sercihan Alioğlu, Tanzer Arığ, Mahmut Aydın, Ayşe Sultan Babayiğit, Uğur Cinel, Tuba Coşkun, Sibel Çetin, Bülent Çınar, Hakan Çınar, Hasan Çimenci, Bahadır Çolak, Halil Daşkesen, Cemre Demirgiller, Şahin Domin, Ümit Turgay Durgun, İpek Evitan, Songül Girgin, Güler Güçlü, Eren Güler, Başak İşbilir, Sevgi Karay, Hayri Karay, Zeynep Köse, Emre Özçaylan, Ahmet Özparlak, Francesco Panceri, Çağdaş Sarı, Ergin Soyal, Caner Şengünalp, Carole Turner & Adem Ünlü.
The “Sky Line” may be visited until November 7 at the terrace of Elgiz Museum.
