Mixer, bringing in a new dimension in the perception of a contemporary art venue, hosts the Printed’ 15 project starting as of April 29, where editions by domestic and international artists will be exhibited. The Printed’15 project, which will draw attention to the significance of edited works, printed in various dimensions and limited numbers, that are able to reach much larger masses while retaining the uniqueness of works of art, will meet with the art-lovers at the Mixer until June 4.
While the edited works of Marc Quinn and photographs of world renowned artists such as Liu Bolin and Li Wei will be exhibited at the Open Storage Area of the Mixer; the works specially produced for the Printed’ 15 project by Ferhat Özgür, Orhan Cem Çetin, Komet, Serkan Taycan, Işıl Eğrikavuk, Çağrı Saray and Bahar Yürükoğlu, among the leading names of Turkish contemporary art, will be displayed at the exhibition hall. Within the scope of the event that will last almost 1.5 months, discussions on edited works and workshops where various printing techniques will be applied, will also be organized.
In the “Printed’ 15” project, exhibiting the works by the artists of CFPR Editions, which is included in the University of the West of England organization and is one of the most prestigious edition studios of England, a selection from the archive of the “edition” gallery in Galatasaray that has suspended its activities in 2013 will also meet with art-lovers.
