Granted by the Arkitera Architecture Center, the goal of the Arkitera Young Architect of the Year Award is ensuring young architects who make qualified productions to be noted for their works and creating an environment to evaluate their studies. The final deadline for the application is September 23.
The application requirements for being a candidate for the 2016 Arkitera Young Architect of the Year Award indicate that one must be born on or after January 1, 1976 and need to make an application to take place in ARKIV.com.tr. The 2016 selection committee is comprised of Tamer Başbuğ, Pınar Gökbayrak, Cem İlhan, Aytek İtez and Şebnem Yalınay Çinici. As for the Arkitera Client of the Year Award, it aims to honor clients who support the production of qualified architectural applications by considering the public liability of architects and clients. It’s aimed to emphasize the significance of the client in qualified architectural productions and encourage the investors to construct qualified buildings and urban spaces. The selection committee for the Arkitera Client of the Year Award is composed of Gökhan Aksoy, Kaya Arıkoğlu, Kerem Erginoğlu, Bilge Kalfa and Semra Uygur.
