Celebrated architect Zaha Hadid prepared a
marble. The collection, which was launched
in Milan in recent months, features
tables, coffee tables and vases. The sharp
and fluent forms that are Hadid’s signature,
are emphasized by forceful pleats and the firm stance of
marble in the collection.
“Tau” vase line is made up of pieces in five different
dimensions and forms. The pieces comprising intertwined
layers, each different from another, references the
complex nature of plants. The dynamic pleats expressing
development and motion according to Hadid reflect in
conjunction with the hardness of marble and fragility of
forms, the equilibrium of nature based on contrasts. The
vases are made of marble in four different colors.
“Quad” table and coffee table line once again comprises
marble in four different colors in five different sizes.
The line, which “flows” through the gap at the center
of each piece, transformed into marble pedestals, has a
design concept similar to the vases in “Tau”.
The entirety of the pieces in the collection are produced
by cutting monoblock marble using digital models and
CNC machines.
