Coordinated by Işın Önol since 2015, the summer school program of Nesin Art Village, embodies architectural workshops this year.
Designed by a team of academicians and students, Nesin Art Village Architecture Program will be held between July 3 – 9, 2017.
Originated and coordinated by Cemil Çalkıcı, a s tudent of Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture, Nesin Ar t
Village Architecture Program is organized by a team including: Assoc. Prof. Kunter Manisa, Asst. Prof. Yekta Özgüven,
Asst. Prof. Demet Mutman, TA Başak Özden, postgraduate student of architecture, Beyza Kızı loğlu and architecture
undergraduate Pelin Asl ıhan Yüksel. It is envisaged that the workshops to be realized for the first t ime this summer will be
cont inued in the future in line with the same organization and they will interact with other simultaneous workshops to be
realized in Nesin Ar t Village.
Aiming to create an extensive education and sharing environment not only for architecture but for all disciplines in order to ensure
all the participants from different disciplines think and question on spatial practices; the workshops in the body of Nesin Art Village
Architecture Program are open to all senior high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
Hande Ceylan, Oruç Çakmaklı, Elif Hant, Kunter Manisa, Başak Özden, Aslıhan Şenel, İrem Uslu and Erhan Vural are among the
directors of the Nesin Art Village Architecture Program – 2017 Workshops to be held this summer. At the same time, Deniz Aslan
and Müjde Tonbekici will contribute to the summer school program with their seminars.
