The countdown has begun for Marble Izmir-International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, the largest global gathering of the natural stone industry. The sector will come together at Fuar Izmir on April 26-29. Nearly 100 thousand people from 81 provinces and more than 100 countries are expected to visit the 28th Marble Izmir, which will exceed 150 thousand square meters with new areas and more than a thousand exhibitors.
Marble Izmir will feature marble, granite, travertine, onyx, limestone, diabase, andesite, basalt, mining consumables, factory and workshop consumables, mining machinery, construction machinery and heavy equipment, factory and workshop machinery, environmental protection, recycling and recovery systems, sectoral organizations and magazines, IT and software companies, transportation and logistics services, financing and lending services, public and official institutions, associations, unions and NGOs, media institutions and organizations.
International Natural Stone Design Competition, organized for the 5th time this year once again and the competition brings young designers together with the innovative companies of the sector. The original designs will be realized in the competition, which aims to promote the innovative structure of Turkish natural stone in the market that will be presented to the visitors at Marble Izmir. Young designer candidates from 15 countries participated in the competition with their projects using natural stone and the 28 projects that made it to the finals will be realized by the pioneering and leading companies of the sector and the award winners will be announced at the 28th Marble Izmir.
