with science fictionists.

Cenk Dereli, the forum
will focus on questions
such as “How did the buildings in the universe of science fiction literature
look like in dreams and how many of them have reflected the future?
How can we compare the science fiction literature that was written in the
past with today’s architecture?”.
Tevfik Uyar
He graduated from ITU as an Aircraft Engineer. He received the MBA
degree from Istanbul Kültür University and continued his PhD education
in the same field. Uyar, also a sociologist, is academically and intellectually
interested in human behaviors, future science and the philosophy of science.
He was among the founders of Açık Bilim magazine (Open Science
Magazine) in 2011. He writes articles in organizations like Herkese Bilim
Teknoloji (Science and Technology for All) and Yalansavar (Lie-repellent).
He is trying to contribute to innovative and future-oriented projects and
support businesses that adopt future missions, through ENTROPOL, of
which he is the founder.
Devrim Kunter
Devrim Kunter is a cartoonist renowned for his character “Seyfettin Efendi
(Mr. Seyfettin)”. He has received many awards with his comic books and has
participated in many exhibitions both at home and abroad. Since June 2016,
he publishes a comic book and story-based magazine named Yaban (Wild).
“Architecture in Life: Science Fiction” can be attended on January 13
at Akbank Sanat.
