Held by the Beykoz Municipality, the final participation date for the international logo design competition is May 15.
The aim of the competition is to design a new logo that reflects the Beykoz Municipality as an institution, identifies with the Beykoz District, establishes a relation with the historical, sociological and physical structure of Beykoz, endorses universal values with a catchy nature of visuality.
The members of the selection committee are composed of Yücel Çelikbilek (Mayor of Beykoz), Asst. Prof. Abdullah Taşçı (Graphic Designer, Prof. in Doğuş University Faculty of Design and Art), Assoc. Prof. Ardan Ergüven (Graphic Designer, Prof. in Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Department, GMK MOB), Asst. Prof. Mehmet Sadık Altınok (Painter, Prof. in Fatih Sultan Mehmet University Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Department, MOB of Free Lithograph Artists Association), Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Sinan Niyazoğlu (Graphic Designer, Prof. in Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Department), Kemal Kaptaner (Türk Telekom Corporate Communication and Brand Management CD), Prof. Sinan Genim (Architect, TAÇ Foundation CEO) and Reyhan Çezik (Sculptor, Free Lithograph Artist, MOB in İstanbul Exlibris Academy Association and Beykoz Glass and Tourism Association).
