Announced by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality in international, freelance
and single-stage categories; the fnal application date of the projects regarding
the competition is February 24.
Bandırma Design Park Competition is organized by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality in accordance with the Article 23 of the Public Procurement Law as
an international, freelance and single-stage urban design competition within
the frame of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Urban Design
Projects, Urban and Regional Planning and Fine Arts Competition regulations.
The theme of the competition includes subjects that call for the contributions of
many professional disciplines and/or felds of art.
The competition is open for architects, urban planners and landscape architects.
The jury of the competition recommend teams that consist of various disciplines
however, considering the specialization and authorization differencies of our
country, at least one architect must be present in each team. Team representatives can be architects, landscape architects or urban planners. In order to take
part in the competition from abroad, the participants have to be offcially practising their proffesions in their own countries. The jury operations will begin on
March 1, the award ceromony and colloqium will be held on March 26.
