enrolled in
the Departments of
Industrial Design,
Interior Architecture
and Architecture,
the deadline for all
applications regarding the competition is February 12th.
The theme of the competition is “kitchen design” in small houses (1
+ 1 or 2 + 1). Within this context, it is demanded for the students to
design equipments (products) that meet the necessities of a kitchen
space such as preparation, cooking, storage, cleaning and eating
and the methods of assembling these elements in accordance with
the objectives of the competiton. Therefore the elements of eating
and their contexts also need to be detailed.
Contestants are asked to organize the kitchen space in a residence
they choose by using the equipments (products) they design. If
deemed appropriate by Koçtaş, the selected projects will be included
and produced within the product line.
Following the evaluation of the jury to be held on February 15-16,
results will be announced in February and an Award Ceremony and
Colloqium will be organized.
