which is the fourth event being a research and documentation study done
with VEKAM support, this time is held in İstanbul to be shared with broader
segments considering that the findings have the potential to start new debates
and as İstanbul would be an important platform for such debates.
The exhibition seeks to draw attention with the aid of posters, postcards,
detailed posters to residential buildings selected from amongst numerous buildings
designated and documented as part of project work, each reflecting
the accommodation practices and the modern living culture of their period,
making sure that the architects of such buildings are known and also to reveal
the process of reproduction of such buildings socially, by way of sound presentation
of the occupants. The exhibition will feature the mockups of some
of the buildings made by Başkent University students.
