If we approach the positioning of art in the center with centrifugal force, art is expected to shift from the center to the surroundings. Istanbul, which previously was off-center for the international arena, has started to transform into a center in our day. And, this being the case, the production at the metropolis started to expand to the outside, manifests started to be exultant and each of the organized events started to become reference points, role models within the perimeter.
Turkmall Art, in the pursuit of a response to the question of “What is going on in Anatolia?”, starts a series of exhibitions titled “Young Art from Anatolia”, in order to carry the production in the art schools in various cities of Anatolia to galleries and create an environment of sharing. 11 young artists from five cities in Anatolia are participating in the first exhibition that may be viewed until May 24.
