Bozlu Art Project hosts the personal exhibition of Ali Teoman Germaner (Aloş), one of the leading names of modern sculpture art.
In the exhibition, where Özlem İnay Erten is the curator and the arrangement is assumed by Nevzat Sayın, a selection is presented where the designs, paintings and sculptures produced by Ali Teoman Germaner since the 1950’s may be observed. The exhibition aiming to reflect the important milestones in the long art life of Ali Teoman Germaner, who has studied under pioneering names in Turkish sculpture such as Rudolf Belling, Ali Hadi Bara and Zühtü Müridoğlu in the sculpture department of the Academy he has entered in 1949 and has opened his first exhibition in 1952 at the Maya Art Gallery, reveals the process in the over a half-century long art life of the artist who has witnessed a majority of the transformations in the art of sculpture in Turkey, both as an artist and an academician.
While the exhibition reflects the pursuits for rich expression, extending from abstract to figure, from design to gravure, from painting to sculpture and different materials such as bronze, stone, wood, by Aloş in a period of more than half a century.
With the “Designs, Painting, Sculptures”, the works of Aloş may be viewed at the Bozlu Art Project until June 3.
