Organized for its third edition this year, the Open Studio Days will allow artists to introduce their works in their studios, houses and spaces with a crowd of enthusiastic people. The organization is coordinated by Deniz Beşer and Juliane Saupe without any sponsor support and the final submission date for the artists is September 6. Carrying out studies in various disciplines such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, installation, photography, video and performance, the visual artists will open their houses and studios located in Taksim, Beyoğlu, Cihangir, Galata, Karaköy, Tophane, Teşvikiye and Kadıköy for visitors in the Open Studio Days. Organized between October 7-9, the event will give the chance for visitors to visit the working environments of artists that are normally not available by shuttling between studios with the help of a map. Harboring the attitude of an independent gathering aiming at “networking”, which stands for one of the fundamental elements considering the art exhibitions and the current art market, the Open Studio Days aims to ensure the art world to get in contact with everybody. In this regard, an amount of 33 studios and houses of the 43 participants have been visited by hundreds of art enthusiasts in 2015.
