Near East University, which led a significant event on the
100th anniversary of Dardanelles Sea Battle which changed
the course of history, organized an exhibition in conjunction
with Rahmi M. Koç Museum. The exhibition opened on
March 18th with the title “Unknown Aspects of Çanakkale
Naval War”, will be at Rahmi M. Koç Museum until September
20.
The curator of the exhibition is Ali Rıza Işipek, who is the former
director of İstanbul Marine Museum, maritime historian
and the Director of Maritime History Research Center of University
of Kyrenia. The exhibition features original oil paintings
of renowned artists, İznik tiles, ship models, antique artifacts,
replicas, costumed inanimate maneqquins, reanimations, litographs,
nautical articles, roll-up posters and flags.
