Held by the Seyhan Municipality in free, local and two-staged programs, the final application date for the first stage of the project is June 28.
The aim of the project is encouraging fine arts, improving cultural, artistic, scientific and environmental values through competition, choosing economic, functional and innovative solutions between a multitude of options in terms of architecture, sense of art, management and preliminary facility costs through “Acquiring the Urban Design and Architectural Project for the Town Square and Surrounding Constructions” organized in the Urban Transformation Space of Adana Seyhan Municipality Sucuzade District.
Full members of the jury for the competition are Kaya Arıkoğlu (M.Arch., Maryland U. – Cornell U.), Nezih Recep Aysel (Asst. Prof. Arch., Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Faculty of Architecture), Tamer Gök (Prof. Department of Urban and Regional Planning, METU, R. Asst. Prof. Mersin University), C. Abdi Güzer (Prof. Arch., METU Faculty of Architecture), Nevzat Sayın (Arch., Dokuz Eylül University, Freelance Architect, İstanbul), Berrin Sirel (Asst. Prof. Landscape Architect, Çukurova University Faculty of Agriculture) and Ahmed Kamil Tanrıkulu (Prof. C.E, Çukurova University, Faculty of Engineering-Architecture).
