Considered as an indispensable source of life throughout the ages, water has been mentioned together with the need for housing, which is necessary for the continuation of life. Water has become an irreplacable part of space and vice versa. Peculiarities of water such as fluidity, transparency and so on, have been moved into the space and various spaces have been further created to sanctify the existence of water. In this sense it can be said that water, which is a decisive element concerning the housing preferences of users, is effective in the formation of the space and the regeneration of its atmosphere.
Organized to provide a platform to attribute a new intellectual perspective to the design field with the help of different specialties in the scope of “Water and Space Thoughout the History”, where the subject specific approaches of experts working in different scales can be evaluated altogether; The National Design Days Symposium (UTG) will take place between September 30 – October 1 in Pamukkale.
