Every nation on Earth included Turkey views energy
efficiency and energy conservation as critical to making our planet habitable.
Buildings consume an enormous amount of energy, much of which we have to buy
from abroad. While we are growing increasingly aware of what benefits saving
energy offers us, the fact of the matter is we still import roughly 15 billion
USD worth of energy every year. The European Union as gone as far as to make the
switch to “Zero Energy Buildings” compulsory as of January 1, 2021. The first
ZeroBuild Forum was held in September 2020. The second, ZeroBuild Forum’21, is
expected to run from September 22–26, 2021. This year’s slogan: “Right Now,
GO!”
Beyond being able to present a road map to all stakeholders, the forum will
show that it is not at all difficult to reach “Zero Energy Buildings” with the
architectural-engineering-material-construction knowledge and
production-industry capabilities of our country. The forum will be held in
digital environment for 5 days with simultaneous service.
