The competition is organized as an open idea competition available for young architects and undergraduates for investigating new settlement concepts following the war in Syria. It’s expected of attendants to create solutions for the housing shortage crisis.
The members of the jury for the competition are: Urko Sanchez (Founder of Urko Sanchez Architects), Felix Madrazo (Partner of Inter.National.Design), Riccardo Luca Conti (Executive Assistant of Catalytic Action), Laurens Bekemans (Founder of BC Architects), Rune Asholt (President of Architects Without Borders Association), Cristina Cassandra Murphy (Founder of XCOOP), Daria Polozkova (Founder of The ART GLOBE and Art Director of Mir-Expo).
The final application date for the competition is April 23 and participation fee is required. Final submission date of the projects is May 8 and announcement of the results are on July 18.
