Organized by IAPS-Culturespace Network with the theme “CITY, CULTURE and HOUSE”, the third edition of national Culture and Space Meetings will take place on December 15-16 at Özyeğin University. Held simultaneously with “Culture and Space Student Meetings”, the symposium aims to present a productive sharing platform with the participations of researchers from various disciplines to reconsider the changing urban space through sociocultural and social aspects and fully understand the spatial diversity in rapidly-changing housing areas. Symposium intends to address Istanbul and housing areas which keep changing with global and local effects through sociocultural and spatial aspects and examine the city through these angles. Concordantly, the event aims to examine and evaluate the theoritic and practical research studies on housing areas encompassing urban spaces and housing standards; bring forward the significance of housings as a social concept and facts, problems and results they reveal in order to understand the socialand cultural relations in the city.
