The winners of the “Istanbul Is Yours – Golden Horn Coastline Design Contest”-as hosted by the City of Istanbul’s Department of Parks, Gardens, and Green Spaces- have been announced. The contest spanned 7 zones along the Golden Horn between the Galata Bridge and the Alibeyköy Bus Terminal, including the districts of Fatih, Eyüpsultan, and Beyoğlu. First prize for Zone 1 went to Emre Şavural and his team, second prize to Zuhal Kol and her team, and third prize to Hasan Sıtkı Gümüşsoy and his team. First prize for Zone 2 went to Ervin Garip and her team, second prize to Arif Suyabatmaz and his team, and third prize to Yusuf Burak Dolu and his team. First prize for Zone 3 went to Cemil Hamdi Okumuş and his team, second prize to Barış Ekmekçi and his team, and third prize to Bilge Yıldırım Okta and her team.
When it came to Zone 4, first prize went to Doğu Kaptan and his team, second prize to Ziya İmren and his team, and third prize to Anıl Binay and her team. Zone 5 prizes (in order of rank) went to Oktan Nalbantoğlu, Serkan Yetgin, Sıddık Güvendi, and their respective teams. Zone 6 prizes went to Hatice Büşra Al Özdilek, Seden Cinasal, Meltem Erdem Kaya, and their respective teams. And, last but not least, Zone 7 prizes went to Selahattin Tüysüz, Deniz Aslan, Ayhan Usta, and their respective teams.
