Bihrat Mavitan, a dream traveler, takes her visitors on a dream journey while showing the facts with her unique irony in her sculpture exhibition at Arnavutköy Galeri Selvin between December 13 and January 6. Mavitan describes the exhibition as follows: “In my art, sculpture follows a dream. This dream is a figure. Even if I attach myself to this figure, this figure is anonymous. It becomes every person I dream of. They wander around in an unfamiliar or very familiar space. They fill an unfamiliar or very familiar space and at that point the movement ends. With its frame, its pedestal, its presentation, it is now mine. The new figure comes to me to look for its new place and settle down, they always stand in front of me. I never get behind them and they never get behind me, we always face each other. They never make me say “if only”.” he explains in his own words.
