Temmer’s Etiler Showroom featured the implementation of a fireplace design that warms up the coldness associated with natural stones through fire. Featuring quite crisp lines of design, the fireplace was completed after creating a perfect harmony between the colors and patterns of the opted stone. In addition to the fireplace, the opted wall covering also establishes a visual integrity. In the scope of marble implementations, just as in every branch of architecture, it is essential for the opted marble to harmonize with the space. The durability of marble, its vein visuality, colors and the facilities that it provides during the implementation process, should all be tackled as a whole. Thanks to this perfect balance, Bluette can adapt to every design and space. Technically, it is highly suited for large-size carrelage practices owing to its cut, plate sizes, and easily applicable nature of its edge finishing details.Of course, beyond the standard outlook of the Bluette marble, details such as bookmatching and vein tracking applied during the cutting process have been attributed a character that can be different for every person, allowing for different mental images. The white, pale blue and light gray fluidity of the primary subtone of Bluette marble, contrasts with the dark gray and black color effect of the vein formation, reminding us once again how balanced nature truly is. The fireplace designed in the Temmer Showroom features approximately 6 plates. This intervention allowed for invigorating through marble the entirety of an approximately 25-sqm of implementation area. We have mentioned above that Bluette marble is quite suitable for edge finishing treatments. The edge treatments for this fireplace have been carried out through 45-degree cutting and further connecting these combinations with vein tracking in order to achieve the apperance of a single block. The bookmatched wall, which is designed as a complement to the fireplace, creates a visual feast that will boost the imagination of people. Bluette marble allows for the juxtaposition of a very clear, austere yet soft and schematic harmony.
Once again created by both the vein tracking method applied for the Bluette marble plate and the meticulous combination of 45-degree edge treatment implementations, this coffee table gives the impression of a block that evokes the untouched state of marble. While it is technically impossible to even think that such design could be moved by human power, considering the weight of a block of marble, the subconstruction of the coffee table has been equipped with steel profiles and the 2 cm-thick marble has been attached to the top of these profiles, culminating in a design that squares the circle. Polishing the Bluette marble allowed for the coffee table to be glossy, hygienic and easy to manage in terms of cleaning. Therefore, introducing marble to the making of a furniture that needs to be in every space such as houses and offices, practically unveiled how much of a beauty and ease of use it can provide for spaces
