Winners of the National Gypsum Trophy Awards, organized by Saint-Gobain Rigips, are announced at an event held at The Seed, Sakıp Sabancı Museum on January 30th. Saint-Gobain Rigips has been actively trading in the building materials, gypsum, as well as wall and suspended ceiling systems in Turkey.
Winners and categories are: Işık Dekorasyon in the category of “Plaster Boards”, ESDO İnşaat in the categories of “Sustainability and Innovation” and “Education, Health and Accommodation Services” and the winner of the “Commercial” category is Ekkon İnşaat. The winners will represent Turkey at the 10th Anniversary of Saint-Gobain Gypsum Trophy Awards to be held in Prague this year.
Winners of the National Gypsum Trophy Awards, organized by Rigips are announced. Rigips has been actively involved in the plaster industry in Turkey for many years. The organization is held for the first time in Turkey this year at The Seed, in Sakıp Sabancı Museum. In the “plaster board” category, Işık Dekorasyon has won the first prize with its “Işık Dekorasyon Headquarters” project. In the “Sustainability and Innovation” category trophy went to ESDO İnşaat with its project titled “42 Maslak” and again with its project “Grand Hotel de Pera” ESDO won the first prize in the “Education, Health and Accommodation Services” category. “Başakşehir Fatih Terim Sports Complex” project brought the first prize to Ekkon İnşaat in the “Commercial” category. Serhat İnşaat awarded with mention for its “Hisar Schools Music Room” project.
Rigips Turkey National Gypsum Award is organized to promote sustainable, safe superstructures with great interior comfort through integration of high performance plaster board systems with gypsum finished by a master workmanship. The awards go to plaster and plaster board application companies for their high quality workmanship, problem solving skills and experience. The winning projects will represent Turkey at the 10th Saint Gobain International Gypsum Trophy Awards in Prague. The awards have been organized by Saint-Gobain group for 20 years. Winning projects will receive their trophies before the international media. Participating firms will have the opportunity for networking with companies from many different countries and learn about the newest wall and ceiling systems of Saint-Gobain group as well as mentioning their names in the world media.
