Travertine furniture, one of the most effective ways to bring the warmth and aesthetics of nature into homes, combines modern elegance and natural elegance in interiors. The unique beauty and durability of travertine adds a sophisticated atmosphere to the interior.
Travertine has been a preferred material in the world of architecture and decoration for many years. With its warm tones, unique veins and natural texture, travertine adds sophistication to any space. Tables, chairs, coffee tables and other furniture made of travertine, which is an extremely durable natural stone, maintain their first-day appearance for many years. For many users and designers, travertine’s longevity means permanence and sustainability. In this way, travertine furniture remains popular not only in the past but also today. In this issue, we have compiled Galipoli by Giobagnara, Baba by Emmanuelle Simon, “Half Way to the Universe” by Sarah Kueng- Lovis Caputo, Bao by Christophe Delcourt and Petra by Joris Poggioli, as well as Rift by Andy Kerstens, “Brewin” by Robert Cheng and “Tracks” by Dan Yeffet, which are inspired by architecture by combining travertine with metal and wood.
.
GALIPOLI
Stéphane Parmentier, who started his career in the fashion industry, has collaborated with Giobagnara to design a new collection of boxes, safes, desktop objects, storage units, trays, candle holders, vases, furniture and leather (or suede) ornaments. Blending tradition, aesthetic heritage and modernity, Stéphane Parmentier’s Puglia collection Gallipoli, using Osso Travertine, shows how travertine can be used in interior furniture in aesthetic and simple forms.

RIFT
“Rift” by Andy Kerstens consists of a table, coffee table and benches with building-scale details. Krestens has transformed his design into a minimal entity by reducing the weight of the stone and eliminating duplicated, exaggerated elements, resulting in products that are easy to move. The combination of travertine in gray and brown tones with wood and solid brass metal gives the series an industrial feel. Hidden structural parts such as screws and bolts are made of stainless steel.

BREWIN
The “Brewin” collection by Robert Cheng is inspired by the black and white colonial houses in Singapore. The designer specially developed this collection for a residence he named “Eden”. The collection includes travertine coffee tables, marble shelves and wooden designs to ensure the continuity of the natural material. By using travertine as a building material in different parts of the residence, Robert Cheng has developed a design concept in a completely common language.
.
.
BABA
The Baba collection by Emmanuelle Simon is characterized by curved and rounded forms. The collection includes a wide range of products from tables, coffee tables and armchairs to lighting. The interaction of form with material has allowed for designs that bring a clear stance to the interior. All designs in the Baba collection, where travertine is the main material, delicately combine comfort and well-defined lines.

HALF WAY TO THE UNIVERSE
“Half Way to the Universe Travertine Stool”, designed by Swiss designers Sarah Kueng and Lovis Caputo, is a stool made of Italian travertine. This piece from the Kueng Caputo collection exhibits a precognitive design by combining travertine with form. Transforming the natural stone into a work of art, the stool is a delicate combination of creative form and skeleton that contrasts with its simple and clear lines. In addition to being a functional piece of furniture, the stool manages to be a characterized product that clearly reveals the style of its designers.

TRACKS
“Tracks” by Dan Yeffet is a striking hand in hand between travertine and wood. “Tracks” collection is designed as an effortless bench that can accommodate all kinds of decorative effects with the caution of order, time and use. The design is conceived in such a way that it can be transformed into a coffee table or used as two separate stools. This multifunctional furniture is shaped by the intertwining of walnut and travertine. With its own rhythm, “Tracks” is designed for lively and practical use.

.
BAO
Designed by Christophe Delcourt for Collection Particuliére, Bao is a coffee table carved from solid Beige Roman travertine. The Bao coffee table gains its strong silhouette by being a block of material cut from a single piece. Described by Delcourt as monolithic, kinetic and enigmatic, “Bao” symbolizes a return to the essence, the primitive, with its form and travertine.

PETRA
Petra, designed by Joris Poggioli, is made of travertine exclusively for the Eden Paradiso villa. For this series, the designer chose furniture with elegant and masculine forms. In Petra, this perspective is reduced with simplicity and restrained ornamentation, revealing the tactile aspect of each piece. In Petra, the designer has created generous proportions, alluring forms and graphic combinations. Petra, which he designed with the idea that it should tell a story that every person can relate to while at the same time offering a functional appeal, manages to add a different perspective to travertine with its monolithic form.
