Designed by French designers Francesco Balzano and Valériane Lazard, the “Primitif” collection includes 8 furniture designs, each made of beige limestone. Inspired by timeless lines and functions, the collection includes a stool, table, bench, coffee table, side table, vase, wall lamp and paper holder.
While the bench in the collection consists of two bases like an arch supporting a flat limestone slab, the center table named Gueridon was designed similarly and at the same height, providing integrity with the bench. The parallel surfaces on the hexagonal and four-legged center table form a stretched hexagonal shape. The support on the side table, which includes a light source and turns the coffee table into a lamp, is placed between two circular blocks.
In the Totem series, which consists of 5 round stone vases, each piece has different heights and is completed with lids. The pieces that can fit inside each other form a round stone column when they are stacked on top of each other. The collection also includes a cylindrical stool, 4 cone-shaped paper holders, and a tall oval-shaped wall lamp in which the light is diffused from the central recess.
