Artİstanbul Feshane welcomes Tate, one of the world’s most important art institutions. The collection of Tate, one of the most visited museums in the world, which came to Turkey with the contributions of IBB Culture and IBB Heritage, meets art lovers with the exhibition “Dynamic Eye: Beyond Optical and Kinetic Art”. The exhibition brings a special multidisciplinary selection of artists such as Alexander Calder, Frank Stella, Victor Vasarely, Lygia Clark, Liliane Lijn, Julio Le Parc, Jesus Rafael Soto, Kenneth Noland and Helio Oiticica to Artİstanbul Feshane. Featuring 95 works by 57 artists from 21 countries, the exhibition is curated by Valentina Ravaglia, Curator of Exhibitions and International Art at Tate Modern, the world-renowned art museum in London.
Revisiting optical and kinetic art from a global perspective and bringing together artists closely associated with the movement, as well as its modernist predecessors and contemporary artists, “Dynamic Eye: Beyond Optical and Kinetic Art” is a journey through 20th-century art. Before Artİstanbul Feshane, the exhibition was exhibited at the Atkinson Museum in Porto, Portugal and the Pudong Art Museum in Shanghai, China. “Dynamic Eye: Beyond Optical and Kinetic Art” exhibition will be on view at Artİstanbul Feshane between January 23 and May 19.
