Celebrating its 60th year, Architects Association organized an event at its headquarters building in Ankara on Friday, December 19, 2014 to set its professional policies for the future; evaluating its history in light of its previous work experience and store of knowledge. There was great interest for the “Architects Association is 60 Years Old” event, where exhibitions, short film screenings and panels were held about the history of the Association. Architects Association, which since its inception has continued to work for development of cities with personality, planned and in a healthy manner; stressed its fight against plans and practices detrimental to urban texture, historical heritage and natural environment, and against public benefit.
