Opened its doors inside the Maslak Automobile and Industry District along with its unique texture, Sanayi 313 serves as an exclusive formation representing different experiences altogether. Bringing their customers together with special pieces directed at a specific lifestyle along with its extraordinary selection of brands, the store section completes the exceptional concept of the space through the overall decoration and the restaurant space.
Realized by the interior architect Enis Karavil and the entrepreneur Amir Karavil, Sanayi 313 harmonizes the lifestyles, experiences and tastes of the creators under the same roof. There are lots of options available in the store section such as special accessories for men and women, cosmetics, vintage pieces, various furnitures selected for living spaces and art objects.
Launched within the Sanayi 313, the creators of the brand “313” composed of Serena Uziyel and Enis Karavil carry out diversified designs ranging from accessories to furnitures along with their different backgrounds.
Providing service in the mornings and in midday hours and opening its doors only for special events in the evenings, the kitchen works are resigned to Müge Ergül who has a powerful background in cookery. An open buffet prepared with daily selected and seasonably fresh products accompany the hot main dishes in the lunch service. The bakery section created with different recipes varying from day to day, exclusively serves all day for the customers of Sanayi 313. As for the special events, a custom preparation of concept and menu is organized specifically for the night.
About the Sanayi 313 project with Enis Karavil:
“For us, the Atatürk Maslak Industrial Estate was an underdeveloped area which draws the attention with its unique architectural texture and remaining in between the extending borders of the residential areas due to the increasing population. While visiting the studios there, this space winking at us paved the way to step into action. The raised ceilings and the isolated garages created the idea to constitute a new area. Rather than project visuals and plannings, we preferred to tell about ourselves through presenting our customers the experience of Sanayi 313 as an architectural team.
The project is realized in cooperation with the interior architect Enis Karavil and the architects of the Sanayi 313 that he’s currently running as a creative director.
The construction process took nearly a year in the area where the infrastructure was lacking. Within this period of time, we went through many different phases ranging from the technical and architectural structuring of Sanayi 313 with 450 sqm to installing a natural gas pipeline into the Industrial District. Composed of the mergence of three stores, Sanayi 313 is ensured the connection between them through including the basement floors. At the same time, the harmony between different and natural materials is emphasized in the construction phase of the project which we see as a part of an urban transformation. Textures like iron, glass, brass and marble are featured in the project.
Concurrently with this process, Enis Karavil and his creative team assembled an unusual product selection for the store, comprised of antiques, design materials and accessories from all over the world. Along with the designs of different identities, private furnitures designed by the 313 Architects are appeared in the store section.”
