The exhibition “In the Footsteps of Modernism: Turkish Painting” traces the process from the production of paintings reflecting the history of Westernization in the Ottoman Empire to the works of the Republic generation that aimed to establish an intellectual foundation for art. Displaying artworks from the Sakıp Sabancı Museum Painting Collection in chronological order, the exhibition is open for visitation until December 31st.
