Marmomacc is an opportunity to get a bigger share of world markets
IMIB Chairman of the Board Ali Kahyaoğlu, who noted that the trade fair was a good opportunity to get a new start these days when the exports of the industry are dropping, said that the increase in the number of participants from Turkey demonstrated the importance of the trade fair. Pointing out that due to the elements of global markets, the drop in the exports of natural stone and marble is increasing, added “As IMIB, we support that all our firms attend the trade fairs to enlarge their markets and to find new ones. Our Ministry of Economy, too, provides significant support to firms. At the trade fair, which plays an important role in the efforts for strengthening the existing markets and discovering new markets of Turkey which is the world leader in production of marble and travertine, there is a chance to follow the latest technologies in the world. We think that this trade fair is so important as it will contribute to creation of a platform for the economic vision of the industry, new markets and new trade partnerships, in addition to product wealth and diversity.
IMIB Chairman of the Board Ali Kahyaoğlu, who held a meeting with trade fair administration, reviewed this year and conveyed the demands of Turkish marble firms for a more effective trade fair next year.
The trade fair administration stated that they will try to respond to these demands with a concept and approach next year.
